Turkcell announced their fourth generation telecommunication services vision in the meeting held in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Turkcell Technology Group General Manager İlker Kuruöz made a speech in the meeting and said “4G is rapidly expanding. Today, there are 112 countries moving to 4G in the world, according to the data of Global Mobile Communication Providers Union. 280 million users in 331 LTE networks can benefit from 4G speed. There are 1889 4D assisted terminals in the world. Considering the increasing data demand, we see no hindrance for transition to 4G. Turkcell and Turkey has the power to provide this opportunity to our people. We are ready for 4G and we are waiting for the start of the process. As Turkcell, we are seamlessly continuing our works for 4G. Strong fibre internet network is obligatory for 4G. We continue our fibre investments with Turkcell Superonline since 2008 and now we reached a network of 33 thousand km. ın accordance with the trend in the world, we are looking forwards to meet 4G technology with the customers using mobile communication technology.”

In the event held by Turkcell, there was a 3D video show on internet without downloading by 4G speed on Turkcell’s Northern Cyprus live network. In order to show the decrease in the online latency times by 4G, real time plays were played on internet.
